Engagement Session Location:
The Beach

Ceremony Location:
The
Winterbourne @ the Club Continental. This location was absolutely PERFECT.
The
ceremony was held outside on the St. Johns River under a canopy of beautiful oak
trees. It is a beautiful space that can accommodate a large number of people.
The owner Carrie is very knowledgeable and is willing to give suggestions on
what works the best for your wedding.
Reception Location:
This was
held in the beautiful Victoria home on the Winterbourne property. If you are
having a wedding with no more than 100-125 people this can work. A bigger
wedding would be very tight. It was lovely. The only thing to watch is the time
of year. Our wedding was September and it was luckily beautiful, make sure that
the Winterbourne staff turns the air condition on several hours ahead of
reception. It was very warm even when the sun went down.
Transportation:
We did
not need transportation, the wedding party and friends stayed in the River
Suites that are adjacent to the Winterbourne. These are beautiful suites.
Flowers:
I used
Sally's Roses and More. Not a good choice. 85% of my flowers that I wanted were
wrong. They also added flowers to the arrangements that I insisted that I did
not like.
They failed to deliver the flowers for the food tables as well. This was luckily
the only thing that was a huge disappointment.
Gown:
David's
Bridal- Beautiful dresses, however their service is
horrible.
Bridesmaids Dresses:
Park
Avenue Bridal- I loved this place. The ladies were so helpful and very
accommodating.
Tuxes:
Afterhours- Make sure the guys try on their tuxes a few days before the wedding,
3 of my guys tuxes were wrong.

Hair:
Bella
Amici Salon-Great stylist. Ask for Lindsey, she will direct you to the stylist

that she
feels can accommodate what look you are going for.
Makeup:
I did my
own.
Caterer:
The
Winterbourne- They require that they do the food,
however
you are able to provide your own alcohol. That was a HUGE plus for us. We hired
a bartender and saved a ton of money.
Cake:
Classic
Cakes- The cake was delicious and absolutely
beautiful. They were able to create the pattern from my dress onto the cake.
Beautiful Job! The only this is that you make sure you clarify what each layer
is suppose to be as far as cake type. One of the layers were not what I ordered,
but it did not matter. It was delicious.
Officiator:
Pastor
Randy Wilson, my childhood minister. It was phenomenal!
Wedding Coordinator:
ME! I
enjoyed every part of the wedding planning. If any of you need help, I would be
glad to help in any way possible.
DJ:
Music by
Vince- I can write a book on how wonderful this guy is! He made our reception
fantastic. He is very interactive and gets the crowd involved. He is very
reasonable and is worth more than he charged.
Photography:
Our
course, Mark Floyd Photography, there is no other choice. I was totally 100%
satisfied with my choice. The entire experience with Mark and Tonya was
enjoyable. Mark makes everyone very relaxed and captures the moment in every one
of his pictures. He spends so much time with you and goes above and beyond what
is expected of a photographer.

(This
picture of Mark and I was taken by a friend of Lisa's The friend
asked for us to take a picture of her and her friends. Then she insisted
that she take our picture too! They were so funny and had a blast!)
Gift
Favors:
Personalized candles and bookmarks.

Signature Board or Guest Book?
Both!

Exit:
Bubbles.
