What is an engagement session?

We include engagement sessions in the packages for several reasons.  It's a casual session at the location of the couple's choice (usually the beach, downtown, or at a park) where we go spend 30-45 minutes doing casual, fun photography.  It's important to us to have our couple comfortable with us because it makes for a relaxed wedding day.  Spending that time together for the engagement session, really sort of creates a fun atmosphere and sort of bond so when the wedding day comes, the couple is more relaxed and it really shows in their pictures.  It's definitely not required to use the session, but we do encourage it. 

 

     

 

 

Secondly, you will get some amazing pictures from the session to use within your album, make a signature board, use a Christmas cards, use as save the date cards or even use on your wedding invitations.  We even had a groom write his bride a poem and he secretly got with us to have it put on one of their engagement photos, and he gave it to her as a wedding gift!
